Hi I'm Neela! Let me tell you a little bit about our history. In 2015 alongside my main job as a GP, I discovered the art of fusing glass using a microwave kiln to relieve stress and indulge my love for shiny, colourful things.

After watching many YouTube tutorials and making many mistakes, I started selling my creations at fairs and in 2019, I opened my first small shop in Chester.

In 2023 I took a leap of faith and moved to a bigger premises, where we could offer larger workshops and even a cafe. With this Glass Deva became more than a shop, it became a community and safe place for everyone. I'm proud to have a fantastic, creative team that can put customers at ease and offer advice.

'Deva' is the Roman name for Chester, and in Sanskrit (the oldest language of India), it means "shiny," "heavenly," or "anything of excellence."
